Samantha A. Severino

Divorce and Family Law Attorney

Samantha Severino

I am a first-generation Cuban American who was born and raised in Hialeah, Florida. I come from a family who has survived trials and tribulations so that I could be in the position I am in now. I grew up with divorced parents and know first-hand the struggles that come with it. The road to divorce is not an easy one, but often an essential one, and having an attorney who understands that can make all the difference.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading books, DIY projects, playing with my 3 dogs, and lying by the ocean. I find true joy in learning because I’m a firm believer that the more I know, the more I can help people who come into my life, whether it be a client or a lifelong friend.

I obtained my Associate in Arts at Miami-Dade College prior to graduating High School through the Dual Enrollment Program. I received my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. I then earned my Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law, and shortly thereafter, I was admitted into the Florida Bar.

Prior to attending law school, I worked as a full-time paralegal for 2 years at divorce and family law firms in South Florida where I learned the foundation of legal drafting and research for family law cases. During law school, I worked at the State Attorney’s Office for the 2nd Judicial Circuit as a Certified Legal Intern where I was able to try criminal cases and experience going to court daily. I then went to work at a criminal defense firm until I graduated law school.

I currently reside in Wellington, Florida. I serve English and Spanish speaking clients, and take cases primarily in Martin, Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade County.

Whether it’s coming to an amicable agreement or going to trial, you can rest assured that I’ll go to bat for you.
