Education & Prior Affiliations
Family law has been in my blood from my early education and throughout my law career. Prior to attending law school, and immediately after graduating high school, I worked at a personal injury firm and then at family law firm as a legal assistant and paralegal.
Shortly thereafter, I had the opportunity to work at the Palm Beach County Courthouse as a Family Court Magistrate’s Assistant for five years. These experiences helped me realize that my passion was in divorce and family law, which I knew I wanted to focus on when I became an attorney.
I followed up to obtain my law degree at Florida International University and during law school I assisted clients through the Family Law and Education Clinic and did my externship with the Honorable Gill S. Freeman.
Prior to joining Bruce Law Firm, I ran my own divorce and family law practice for several years with my principal office located in Miami-Dade County. I served clients in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.
